Hotel SPA Tervis
The symposium will be held in Pärnu at the Hotel SPA Tervis (http://www.spatervis.ee/en). The hotel is next to the Yachting Harbor and the historic pier of Pärnu (Seedri str. 6). Pärnu is an economic center located in South-West Estonia on the shores of the Gulf of Pärnu, which has an area of 32 km2 and a population of about 50’000. Pärnu has held the title of Estonia’s Summer Capital. With a history dating back as long as 11’000 years, Pärnu is a genuine pearl for any architecture and history lover. The city was established in 1251 and became one of the rich, vibrant Hanseatic cities during the medieval period. Its status as a Hanseatic city adds a historic tone to contemporary Pärnu.
How to reach Pärnu
Pärnu enjoys a favorable location, being only a 90-minute drive from Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and a two-hour drive from Riga, the capital of Latvia. Both big cities are home to international airports. When arriving in Tallinn, it is possible to rent a car at the airport and move on from there to Pärnu. Another option is to travel by bus/taxi/tram from the airport to the Tallinn Bus Station and then travel to Pärnu by bus.
