Training – Fourth Doctoral School – January | February 2024

The Fourth Doctoral School of the European Training Network project SMARTGYsum brings a new appointment among the six main networkwide training events that will be organized during this project. The school will continue ESRs’ participation in special courses, each giving a certificate worth 1 ECTS credit. It will also include social events to get to know each other among the consortium members, improve research integration between the project beneficiaries and partners, and establish long-lasting collaboration between the ESRs. ESRs will also present their activities to the EU experts during a one-day evaluation meeting.

The Fourth Doctoral School will be held at the University of Salerno – Campus Fisciano. Schools of Engineering Building block E (building in blue color, with a big "E" letter on the top), it is clearly visible from the University Bus Terminal. (How to get the University Campus)
Salerno, is located in Campania region, very close to the wonderful Amalfi Coast (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and to Pompeii and Paestum (famous archaeological sites)
It is easy to get to Salerno from Napoli International Airport as well as from other Italian cities connected by the high speed trains TAV
